Privacy Policy
Who we are
Salesu is a business application used by food distributors and their staff and wholesale customers. It is provided under an agreement with your distributor, who controls the business data entered into the app (customers, orders, invoices, and prices). Salesu processes that data on the distributor's behalf. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, and role, provided by you or your distributor.
- Location: only while the app is open and you are clocked in to a work session. It is used to verify clock-in and clock-out and to show your position to dispatch. We do not collect location in the background or when you are clocked out.
- Business records you enter: orders, invoices, payment status, returns, credits, expenses, and customer records.
- Photos you attach: images you choose to add to orders, expenses, customer records, or messages.
- Device push token: so we can send order and message notifications.
- Diagnostic data: crash reports and basic app performance information.
Payments
Card details entered in the app are sent directly to Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Service providers
We use the following providers to run the app. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
- Supabase: hosting and database
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): push notifications
- Stripe: payment processing
- Twilio: SMS delivery
We do not show advertising, sell your data, or track you across other apps or websites.
How long we keep data
We keep data for the duration of the business relationship between you (or your distributor) and Salesu. After it ends, data is deleted or anonymized within 90 days, unless we are required by law to keep it longer.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Email sweetandsugar2027@gmail.com from the address on your account. Some requests about business records may need to go through your distributor, since they control that data.
Children
Salesu is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted by role, so users see only the records they are authorized to see. We review access controls and dependencies regularly.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify users in the app.
